Gem of the Universe, you wonder?  I love gemstones.  Always have.  Ever since I was a kid I was mesmerized by diamonds.  I'd rummage through my mother's jewelry box, and drape my fingers, wrists and neck with her trinkets; I'd catch myself staring at women's wedding rings, and ask if I could try them on.  This has stayed with me through the years.  I still get giddy when I see a beautiful piece of jewelry.  There's something about each piece and the gems that adorn them, their depth, color and flash.  As a grown-up, I've been designing and making jewelry for almost 14 years and up until about a month ago it was mostly fun/trendy/contempory jewelry.  Now my business has expanded into "fine" jewelry.  I'm thrilled with the pieces that I've created so far: 18K gold with diamonds hand in hand with precious gems.  They're actually like "everyday wear" diamonds: allure of style and wearability.   What else?!
